Kimchi Jjigae



Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 200 grams of meat

  • 150 grams of kimchi

  • 2 tablespoons Korean chili powder

  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 leek, sliced crosswise

  • 1/2 piece of silken tofu

  • 2 green chilies, sliced crosswise

  • 500 ml water

How to make:

  • Season the meat with salt and pepper. Cut the tofu, cut the kimchi into bite-sized pieces, then set aside.

  • Heat a little oil in a pan, then sauté the meat until it's cooked. Add kimchi, garlic, and chili powder. After stirring, cover the pan and let it sit for 1 minute.

  • Open the lid of the pot, then pour the water. Season with soy sauce. Add tofu and onions. Cook until the gravy boils and all the ingredients used are perfectly cooked.
