Iced Matcha Latte


INGREDIENTS

2 teaspoons matcha powder

1 to 2 tablespoons hot water

1 cup warm water

Ice

Milk of choice (I used almond milk)


HOW TO MAKE

In a measuring cup or bowl, add matcha powder. Pour in 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water and stir until the matcha is completely combined with the water. This should make almost a little bit of paste.

Pour in the remaining 1 cup water and stir. Transfer to the refrigerator or freezer to cool for about 15 minutes.

Fill two glasses full of ice and add the milk of your choice until the glass is about 3/4 full. If you like it, this is a good time to add a simple syrup. Finally, pour in the chilled matcha and stir.
