Material :
1 piece chinese tofu
1/4 tsp salt
2 cloves of garlic, puree
100 ml water
3 pieces of rice cake, cut
150 grams of bean sprouts, boiled briefly
50 grams of vermicelli, boiled
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce for serving
1 tbsp fried red onion for sprinkling
50 grams of starch crackers, fried
1 cucumber, cut into 4 parts, sliced
Cooking oil
Peanut sauce ingredients:
125 grams of skinned peanuts, fried, mashed
5 pieces of red cayenne pepper, boiled
3 cloves of garlic
3/4 tsp salt
4 tbsp finely combed brown sugar
25 ml of tamarind water from 2 teaspoons of tamarind and 3 tablespoons of water
200 ml water
How to make :
Soak the tofu in a solution of salt, garlic, and water. Fry tofu until cooked. Cut into pieces.
Peanut sauce: grind cayenne pepper, garlic, salt, and brown sugar. Add peanuts. Flatten. Add water and tamarind water. Knead again until all ingredients are mixed.
Serving suggestions: Tata lontong, tofu, bean sprouts, and vermicelli. Soak peanut sauce. Add sweet soy sauce. Add fried shallots, fried starch crackers, and cucumber.
